Bishop’s Mission is a non-profit organization that provides mental health and emotional support to active and retired first responders —such as firefighters, police officers, EMTs, and dispatchers—who face stress and trauma on the job. We offer peer support, critical incident stress management (CISM), and a safe space to connect with others who understand these unique challenges.

We offer animal-assisted support during debriefings to bring comfort and ease. Our goal is to be there for responders, providing emotional support, tools for resilience, and guidance when it's needed most—ensuring no first responder navigates tough times alone.

At Bishop’s Mission, we focus on fostering belonging, inspiring hope, and honoring the service of those in critical, high-stress roles. Through educational programs, peer-driven initiatives, and events, we offer support to both responders and their families.

The Bishop’s Mission Coffee Speakeasy is a cozy, private space where first responders—like firefighters, police officers, EMTs, and dispatchers—can relax, recharge, and connect over a cup of coffee. It’s designed to offer a safe, welcoming environment where they can unwind, chat with peers, or just enjoy some quiet time away from the stresses of the job.

Think of it as a coffee corner with a purpose—a spot where those who serve our community can find comfort, whether they need someone to talk to, visit the dogs or simply want a moment of peace. With its laid-back vibe and supportive atmosphere, the speakeasy gives responders a place to decompress and take care of their mental well-being.
