Bishop’s Mission not only supports service K9s within departments, but is also available to provide on call peer support to departments following critical incidents. Our trained peer responders deploy in support of first responders, offering Critical Incident Stress Management and ASAP services when they are needed most. We are first responders supporting first responders, meeting departments where they are in moments of high stress and trauma. When peer support is combined with the presence of a trained support K9, it creates a powerful, calming, and effective approach to recovery and resilience.
