Staying Connected: Bishop’s Mission on Podcasts & Radio
The past several months have been busy ones for Bishop’s Mission.
Between station visits, conferences, peer support outreach, and providing K9 Wellness Bags to departments, we’ve also had the opportunity to share our mission through podcasts and radio interviews. These conversations have allowed us to talk about why Bishop’s Mission exists, the importance of peer support for first responders, and the role wellness support K9s play in supporting those who serve.
We know not everyone is able to catch a live interview or tune in when a show airs—and that’s okay.
If you’d like to learn more about Bishop’s Mission, hear the story behind our work, and better understand how we support both first responders and their K9s, we’ve gathered those interviews here for you to listen to at your convenience.
Whether you’re new to our mission or have been following along from the beginning, these conversations offer a deeper look into the heart of Bishop’s Mission and the community we’re building.

Thrivemind Studio Podcast: The episode also features ThriveMind Studio’s Voices of Impact nonprofit spotlight, highlighting Bishop’s Mission and its founder, Kate Klasen. Kate shares how Bishop’s Mission supports first responders navigating the aftermath of critical incidents through peer connection, lived experience, and trained PTS canines. The conversation sheds light on gaps in traditional wellness systems—particularly the often-overlooked care of therapy and service dogs that departments rely on—setting the tone for ThriveMind’s commitment to practical, human-centered support. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-sC3KNJKLlE
Thank you for being part of this journey and for supporting a mission focused on care, connection, and wellness—on both ends of the leash.
